  7. These new sound AdLib sound drivers fix several problems in the previous
  8. version that caused no sound to be played on the new MediaVision Pro Audio
  9. Spectrum boards and also fixed a problem where sometimes speech would stop
  10. playing on other boards.

  12. Copy the files ASOUND.GS2, ASOUND.GS3 and ASOUND.GS4 to your Gunship
  13. directory. It is always a good idea to back up your old drivers before
  14. installing the new ones.

  17. IF your sound card has been changed to use an interrupt other than 7
  18. (normally the default), you will need to copy a different ASOUND.GS2 file:

  20.     If you use interrupt 2,  Copy ASOUNDI2.GS2 and rename it to ASOUND.GS2

  22.     If you use interrupt 3,  Copy ASOUNDI3.GS2 and rename it to ASOUND.GS2

  24.     If you use interrupt 5,  Copy ASOUNDI5.GS2 and rename it to ASOUND.GS2

  27. (The drivers assume DMA channel 3 on MediaVision Pro Audio Spectrum Plus and
  28. 16 cards, and DMA channel 1 on all other cards. It is not possible to change
  29. this.)
